Sign up for the Cancer Patient Empowerment Program (CancerPEP)

Designed by an Oncologist and Psychology Professor, Drs. Rob Rutledge and Gabriela Ilie, the Cancer Patient Empowerment Program (CancerPEP) is a 6 month at home program specially designed to support those living with cancer to improve their overall health and wellbeing.

 

The objective of the program is to help you take control of your physical and mental health by daily participation that incorporates fitness, nutrition, mindset, relationships and more. See flyer below for more information.

Kidney Cancer Canada is funding up to 50 free registrations for the kidney cancer community to join the ground breaking 6 month program to support your care path.

ABOUT THE FOUNDERS

Gabriela Ilie, PhD, MA, BSc

Dr. Gabriela Ilie is an Associate Professor of Epidemiology in the Faculty of Medicine at Dalhousie University and the Endowed Soillse Scientist in Cancer Quality of Life Research. She has over 20 years of experience teaching and conducting research on the intersectionality between psychology, mental health, cancer and quality of life outcomes.

Rob Rutledge, MD, FRCPC

Dr. Rob Rutledge is an Associate Professor of Medicine at Dalhousie University, and a full time Radiation Oncologist specializing in genito-urinary, breast and paediatric cancers. He has had a long-standing interest in integrative medicine
