The MOVE TO BEAT CANCER is an event that brings people and their communities together virtually in a dynamic, social, and festive way to create awareness about kidney cancer and to raise money for patient programs and research.

“MOVE TO BEAT CANCER raises funds for kidney cancer only. We are excited to join together and raise funds for our kidney cancer community!” declares Christine Collins, Executive Director. “ No donation is too small. Every dollar supports patient education programs and webinars, peer support counselling, patient advocacy and research, just to name some of the great services offered by Kidney Cancer Canada.”
The MOVE TO BEAT CANCER gives every participant the flexibility to plan the activity of their choice and MOVE at their own pace. Signing up is easy and we are here to help should you need guidance.

It’s easy!
1. Choose your MOVE
Any activity will do, from walking your dog, canoeing, group cycling, garage sale to knitting! Whatever your hobby, choose it as your MOVE activity. One of our participants wrote a poem with suggested words from her supporters.
2. Choose when you MOVE
Any day from September 22 to 24, or all three. You decide.
3. Join the MOVE
As an individual, team member or create a team on the MOVE TO BEAT CANCER fundraising platform and receive your personal web page.
4. Personalize your MOVE page
By adding a personal message on why it is important for you to MOVE TO BEAT CANCER, add photos and videos.
5. Share your MOVE page
With family, friends, co-workers, and people in your community. Ask them to sponsor your unique MOVE TO BEAT CANCER and to share your web page.
