Participate in an Interview on Kidney Cancer and Robotic Surgery
What is the opportunity?
Ontario Health is currently reviewing robot-assisted nephrectomy (surgical removal of part or all of the kidney) for people with kidney cancer. This review will result in a recommendation to the Ontario Ministry of Health about the potential expanded public funding of this type of surgery.
What is robotic assisted nephrectomy?
Robotic assisted nephrectomy is a minimally invasive surgery where the surgeon will control robotic instruments to perform the procedure.
How you can help
We are looking to speak to:
- People with kidney cancer who have had kidney removal surgery
- People with kidney cancer who may be waiting to undergo a kidney removal surgery
- Caregivers or family members of those above
What do we need from you?
- Time Commitment: 30 – 40 minutes interview
- Location: By phone
