POSTPONED – National Patient & Caregiver Forum – Montreal 2020

NOTICE

Please be advised that after much deliberation and consultation the Board of Directors of Kidney Cancer Canada has determined that in the best interest of all concerned (both safety and well-being), that we must postpone our Annual National Patient and Caregiver Forum – scheduled for Saturday May 9, 2020 in Montreal. This decision was made as we monitor the COVID-19 situation as well as adhering to the federal guidelines produced by the Public Health Agency of Canada.

We recognize that this might cause some inconvenience – and we apologize for that – however we feel that this is in the best interest of everyone.

We will advise you as soon as a new date is set.

Patient and Caregiver National Forum
Live It, Survive It, Cure It – Living with kidney cancer to a cure

 

Please accept our personal invitation to Kidney Cancer Canada| Cancer du rein Canada annual patient and caregiver forum, this year held in Montreal, Quebec.

The forum takes place at the Centre de recherche du CHUM on 900 Saint-Denis in Montreal on Saturday, May 9, 2020 from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm. The meeting is free of charge to all patients, caregivers and family members, pre-registration is required; lunch is provided.

The all-day session provides you with an opportunity to network with other patients and caregivers and talk one-on-one with leading kidney cancer experts. Topics include the latest strategies and information to help you Live, Survive and Cure kidney cancer. Every panel includes a patient or caregiver with their perspective of treatment and living with kidney cancer. We also encourage you to join in the discussion with presenters and other participants.

The Forum will be held in French and English with simultaneous interpretation services on site.

Patients and caregivers tell us our national forums provide tremendous inspiration, hope and tools to empower them to be an active participant in their care pathways and live life to the fullest.
